:D

Ah, today has been a good day. Wandered down to the Societies Fair to blink at all the new ones floating about. Then scuttled straight over to sign up and volunteer for the Mental Wealth and Creative Writing societies because I didn't mind my routine back at home and those two will mimic it somewhat. That's not what made me grin though. Students with Disabilities still exists! I think I may have confused the girl on the desk by shouting 'It's still here!' joyfully. Oh but I am happy it didn't die off when I dropped off the face of the earth a year and a half ago. Plus, I have all the stuff I collected for it back at home so I can donate things that might help. *bounce* I probably shouldn't be this happily surprised that it's still running considering its Association status but between apathy and stigma I wouldn't have been shocked if it had died a death.

In other news, I'll be seeing Dave Gorman and Joe Bonnamassa live next month, both of whom I've been after tickets for for a long while. The latter especially ever since my dad played his CD in the car for the first time.

Tomorrow will be societies fair again (anyone I know on the sci-fi stall?) before meeting with my department to see if I have to redo my thesis or something equally horrifying. Afternoon is free though - anybody fancy a drink in the new Costa opposite Main Building?

Grr, now you're making me feel all nostalgic about Fresher's week and I have to very forcefully remind myself how annoying it really used to be!

Also, not free today on account of being in work near Cambridge but I would love to meet up for a coffee on Saturday or Sunday if you're free. I won't have tons of time because I need to get my entire flat cleaned but I can definitely spare an hour and I'd really like to see you before I'm gone for good.

Actually, it's not that annoying this year but that might just be my relief at being back at uni talking.

I would absolutely love to meet up some time this weekend for coffee. I can symoathise with the having no time due to packing/cleaning as I had that the few times I was in Cardiff this last year. It's really sad to think you won't be up here anymore (especially come November with NaNoWriMo) but I am glad you've got your job and uni stuff finally sorted. How does Saturday at some point in the afternoon sound? And where, of course, maybe Shot in the Dark as per usual or perhaps somewhere closer to you - I don't mind doing the travelling as it's a) pretty easy for me from where I am and b)good for me.

Saturday afternoon sounds good - shall we say around 3 for now? I'll confirm on the day. Is your mobile number still the same?

Shot's a bit out of the way for me, and I think for you too, isn't it? Could you get a bus to the John Lewis area of town? The JL bar is very nice, and there's the Plan very close to there as well. But only if you think you can manage it, otherwise we could do the new Costa on Park Place or the somewhere like that.

3 is fine for me - and yep my mobile's still the same (ending in 032).

Shot is awkward for me to get to - it's on the wrong side of the train tracks so there's nothing direct for me to hop on to to get there. The John Lewis bit is easier, I can actually manage to walk down there these days so I'm good with trying out the JL bar - never actually had a chance to go to it yet so hooray for going to new places.

So yeah, hopefully see you on Saturday at three then. *glee*

Cool! The "main" entrance to John Lewis (the one opposite the new library) is probably easiest. See you then :)
